NCWS honours Eze Onuoha, others …launches magazine, almanac.

 

 

The National Council of Women Societies, NCWS Imo State Branch has conferred an excellent leadership award on the traditional ruler of Osuama autonomous Community in Isiala Mbano L.G.A., Eze (Dr) Charles Onuoha in recognition of his selfless and sincere leadership qualities.

 

Speaking while conferring the award, the President, NCWS, Imo State Branch, Mrs Lois Osueke maintained that Eze Onuoha had been found worthy of serving God and humanity faithfully in his capacity, noting that he has raised exemplary family based on love and fear of God and congratulated him.

 

Mrs Osueke revealed that NCWS is a non-political, non-ethnic, non-profit-making and non-governmental organization being involved in advocacy sensitization campaign, capacity building and awareness creation in the areas of health, education, agriculture and other areas of human endeavours and expressed delight that the National President of the association, Chief Mrs Nkechi Mba is an Imo daughter.

 

Other awardees on the occasion were the Group Managing Director/CEO of Expert Technology Nigeria Limited, Chief Chris Agogbuo, a lecturer in Education and Management, University of Science and Technology PortHarcourt, Lady Kathy Osuji and an exemplary nurse, Lady Sophia Odunna.

 

Answering questions from newsmen after receiving the award, Dr Onuoha attributed his recognition by NCWS to his philanthropy and social disposition stressing that he has assisted in providing food, shelter and other necessities to many widows and other less privileged persons in Imo State pledging to continue to do good to humanity.

 

The royal father advised women to always be submissive to their husbands no matter their position, play vital roles in home building, inculcate good behavior in their children emphasizing that the good orientation parents give to their children early enough will carry them along for life.
