A governorship aspirant of Ali Grand Alliance Party (AGAP) Imo state, Dr. Iroegbu Njoku (Omenuko) is set to declare and launch End poverty programme in Imo state soon.
Speaking to journalists recently, a top member of Dr. Njoku’s campaign organization stated that Dr. Njoku Iroegbu will use the occasion of declaration for Governorship, launch End poverty programme. Dr. Njoku’s Spokes person further posited that Dr. Njoku will use the occasion to launch other life changing programmes that will benefit Imolites. He revealed that Dr. Njoku’s reason for using AGAP to actualize his ambition is not unconnected with her slogan “prosperity to the people” and stated that Governance is all about people’s welfare and prosperity.
According to his spokes person, Dr. Njoku will be speaking to Imolites on his Governorship ambition, through print and electronic media before his declaration. He will equally deliver some vehicles to AGAP before his declaration.
He said that Dr. Iroegbu Njoku (Omenuko) is a home person, who hails from Ogbe in Ahiazu-Mbaise L.G.A of Imo State. He holds a PHD in complex Infrastructural change management from the University of Bradford United Kingdom. He is the CEO GG & M Consulting UK and found FORWORDAGE Initiative as well as consultant-mega project reviews Cabinet office, United Kingdom. Dr. Njoku was former head of change portfolio PFG in UK, former Head of planning PORTASILO UK, former president National Association of Imo State students Madonna University Okija Anambra State. As a lecturer, Dr. Njoku taught in the university of Bradford UK and was former governor “Academic in UK, Some of his achievements in the public sector include, wrote and developed for the transformation of the NHS primary care general practice in UK. He was the Director of the programme that reduced food poisoning cases in UK by hundred thousand. He found the FORWORDAGE initiative, which help in enlightening and empowering the Nigerian Youths amongst others.
Back home, Dr. Njoku donated buses to University students in Imo State to help alleviate their transport problems occasioned by the ban on Keke by Imo State government. He is known to have settled hospital bills running into millions of naira for incapable patients, who upon discharge could not afford their hospital bills. Dr. Njoku is one man who is in the hearts of Imo youths. He is a youth in his late thirties, who have stayed in an environment where public fund is used to touch lives of people and he intends to replicate his experience come 2019 when he become the next governor of Imo state.
