The Ikeduru solidarity mandate, a grassroots support group for Hon Oparaji Darlington Chidiebere (Tivity) Stormed Imo Government House premises last Monday, 2nd of July, 2018 to congratulate Governor Okorocha for redeeming the image of Imo of APC in the State at the just concluded APC National Convention.

The mandate group led by the State Assembly hopeful, Hon Oparaji in a show of solidarity mobilized over a thousand Ikeduru constituents to the Government House Owerri from the Imo to express their unflinching support to Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s Rescue Mission administration.

In his address, Hon Oparaji thanked Okorocha for rescuing Imo APC from the coalition group and pledged their unalloyed support for Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

While acknowledging Governor Okorocha’s giant strides in Imo, Hon Oparaji attributed his free education and infrastructural brilliance within the State capital to his visionary, pragmatic and dynamic leadership qualities, he described the Governor’s efforts as a milestone haven set the pace for other Governors in the country to follow.

The dynamic youth leader maintained that Ikeduru remains intact for APC, noting that they are keen on electing credible leaders like him to key into the Rescue Mission philosophy of Governor Okorocha.

Hon Oparaji appreciated the political elites, various student groups, youths and women organizations of Ikeduru extraction who participated in the solidarity rally to honor Governor Okorocha.

In his response, Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Chief Uche Nwosu commended the doggedness and grassroots strength of Hon Oparaji.

He assured the Ikeduru State Assembly hopeful that the upcoming Assembly primaries will record free fair and credible exercise.

Chief Uche Nwosu thanked Ikeduru people for their continued support towards President Mohammadu Buhari, Governor Okorocha and himself, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

According to him, “nobody will disenfranchise anybody, we shall not allow anybody to cheat another aspirant” Chief Uche Nwosu submitted.

A media Director of the grassroots support group, Comrade Bright Ahamefule expressed optimism for the victory of Hon Darlington Oparaji at the polls in 2019.

He maintained that the Assembly hopeful will replicate the good qualities of Governor Rochas Okorocha in Ikeduru come 2019.

Meanwhile, the grassroots support group has extolled Governor Rochas Okorocha for choosing Chief Charles Amadi (CHARVON) and Rev Dr JC Ayozie as leaders of Ikeduru APC.

They stated that the duo’s transparency in leadership has resulted to sanity and hope for Ikeduru people adding that the unity perceived in the area will ensure victory for APC come 2019 general elections.
