Fresh trouble awaits the Imo State Chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hilary Ekeh as for the umpteenth time he is on the wanted list of men of the Nigerian Police Force, NPF.
Eke who was conspicuously absent at the resumed hearing of the court case where he has been charged for two alleged offences could not turn up for the matter.
Despite excuses offered by his counsel that the APC chairman in Imo is suffering health challenges forcing him not to attend, the Chief Magistrate went ahead to order for his arrest through bench warrant on the premise that no evidence was provided to support the claim.
The trial magistrate who recalled that Eke was arrested and clamped in cell for failure to respond to court ordered for his arrest and continued detention till 14th of April 2015 when the matter is scheduled for hearing.
If police captures Eke, he may not witness the general elections scheduled for March 28 and April 11, 2015 as party chairman since the date for resumption of court for his matter is April 14, 2015.
It would be recalled that Eke is standing trial for alleged forgery and criminal defamation of character against Eze Cletus Ilomuanya.
