Imo Government promises New Bus to IMSU SUG

Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has promised to donate a brand new bus for Students Union Government of Imo State University, Owerri.
The Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, stated this last week, when the union, led by its president, Comrade Rex Okoro paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Owerri.
The SUG Excos who came to solidarize with the governor, thanked Prince Eze Madumere for welcoming his team and assured him of the union’s support.
In his address, the IMSU SUG leader, Comrade Rex Okoro appealed to the governor to re – build the fragile secretariat of the union and always carry the students along in his scheme of things.
He described Governor Okorocha as a God – fearing and youth friendly leader who sees beyond the needs of the people, adding that he is an agent of change.
Comrade Okoro however saluted the governor for extending his free education programme toImoStateUniversityand assured him of their loyalty.
The SUG leader also appreciated the administrative style of Acting Vice Chancellor of IMSU, Prof BEB Nwoke and urged him to continue his good works.
In his speech, Prince Mdumere thanked the SUG executives for identifying with the Rescue Mission Agenda and assured them of government’s assistance in re – shapingImoStateUniversity.
He also cautioned them to shun youth restiveness and other social vices, adding that such things would hinder their success in life.
