The Executive Governor of the State, His Excellency Owelle Okorocha has congratulated the leaders and members of the Democratic Party, PDP, in the state for having a crisis-free election last weekend.
The Governor said it was an achievement on the part of the PI state in particular and the people of the state in general that the delegates election was conducted in the state and no crisis was or life lost unlike the ugly stories of lives being lost in some other states.
Although there were certain reports of manipulations of the pr the election by some leaders of the party, the most important thing was that the leaders and members of the party in the state recognized that they were all indigenes of the State first and foremost an< could not have been explained that there was fracas or that an h or woman lost his or life during the exercise.
The story of a serving senator slapping somebody as reported c< viewed with reservation because it was unexpected, but the lose would not have been tolerated at all. The people of the state remain one and continue to love themselves and see politics something that should not be allowed to lead to undue squabbles.
