A renowned politician and foremost youth Activist in Okigwe North, Federal Constituency Imo State Chief Demian Okoroike of Demian Vanguard has thrown his weight behind the aspiration of Barr Isaac Anumudu. Chief Okoroike while answering questions from Journalists in Owerri the capital recently, insisted that it takes a personality like Barr Anumudud to move he constituency forward.
He opined that great opportunities abound in the federal government programmes, but not all eyes can see such opportunities. He maintained that Barr Amumudu is a go getter, a trait he showcased in his excellent outing while co-ordinating the famous Oputa Panel. Stressing further, he told the press that he has been on the “terrain” for the past 25years and as such knows all interests of his people.
He frowned at a situation where Government empowerment schemes comes and go without reaching the people, just because of inefficient and irresponsive representation. “Immigration recruits, Army recruit, Customs and Civil defence, all come and go yet our unemployed youth graduates increase, federal scholarship board, NDDC, Shell are still sponsoring graduates to oversea studies, but only a man with the pedigree and scorecards like Anumudu can break the jinx and empower the people.
Chief Okoroike insisted that the masses are more conscious now to identity a candidate of unquestionable character, because the change expected comes through the ballot box.
On the chances of PDP winning the election and that of Anumudu getting the ticket after primaries, the stern looking Activist asserted that given the prevailing peace and unity in PDP now, he is rest assured that the party will win 2015 elections, adding that if all leaders and stakeholders will deliver their boots, wards, and LGAs, the cumulative result is victory election. Finally he assured that Barr Anumudu will win the primary and the general delivered God willing.
