WHO WANTS OUR SON DEAD, NLEM FAMILY THINKS ALOUD

By Innocent Osuoha
The Nlem family members of Ekom, Ngugo in the Ikeduru local government area have intensified their prayers for the survival of their son, Barrister Ignatius Nlem, following gunshot wounds he sustained when he was attacked in his office by suspected assassins at 6pm on the thirtieth of July this year.
According to the elder brother of the victim, Mr Paschal Nlem, the younger brother, Ignatius Nlem, was attacked that evening by three heavily armed men at his chamber, 127 Wethedral road, Owerri, who inflicted wounds on him.
Mr. Nlem who said his brother is presently lying critical in an undisclosed hospital, has been experiencing strange visitations since Nov 2012. He recalled that in that month, some unknown persons attacked the Barrister in his office during which they shot him at the abdomen.
He disclosed that previously, reports have been made to the Owerri Urban Police Station including the most recent case where they were informed that two persons have been arrested for interrogation.
He appealed to persons or groups who have any scores to settle with the younger brother to come forward for dialogue instead of going after the youngman’s life. He commended the Police for their efforts so far and urged them to do a thorough job.
When contacted on phone, the Police PRO, DSP Andrew Enwerem said he has not yet been briefed on the matter.
