2015 Guber Imo Youths In Lagos Insist On Charter of Equity, Backs Owerri Zone

Youths of Imo State Origin resident in Lagos State have lent their support on the Imo Charter of Equity saying that they will only but support a Governorship candidate of the Owerri zone extraction.
Rising from their meeting held at the Hall of the National Stadium in Lagos, the youths unanimously said, “That Imo youths in Lagos state insist that in the spirit of equity, Justice and fair play, that in 2015 the Governor of the state shall come from Owerri zone”
In the four paragraph Communiqué, Coalition of Imo Youths in Lagos further insist, “That Imo youths in Lagos state will support the emergence of a technocrat as a Governor than a conventional politician, to guarantee good governance and economic growth of the state”.
“That Imo youths in Lagos will support a leader with 100% interest of the youths at heart to lead the state come 2015”.
The communiqué which was signed onbehalf of the association by Linus Onyechefule (Owerri) Azubuike Celine (Orlu), Angel Chidi Okoro (Okigwe), Tony O. Duru (Okigwe), Daniel Amaechi (Owerri) and Chima Davis Ukwandu from Orlu further averred, “In series of our meetings, we articulated and evaluated all issues concerning our state, ranging from politics, Governance, Security, Employment, Youth Empowerment and etc, while we appreciate the work the government is doing in its little effort to uplift the state, the coalition felt much more is needed and needed urgently”.
