SENATOR ANYANWU KICKS OFF CONSTITUENCY TOUR AT IKEDURU

As part of her campaign promises to give back to her constituents, the senator representing Owerri Senatorial zone at the National Assembly, Sen. Chris Anyanwu stormed Ikeduru LGA of Imo state, to intimate the indigenes of the area of her giant strides recorded in the last one year.

Sen. Anyanwu who was accompanied to Ikeduru by the member representing Ikeduru at the Imo House of Assembly (IMHA), Hon. Stan Daddy stormed the palace of the traditional ruler of Ebekarocha Autonomous Community in Ikeduru LGA, Eze Masil Egemonu, and was received by the Chiefs of the area.

Speaking on behalf of other traditional rulers who came to solidarize with Senator Anyanwu, Eze Masil Egemonu thanked the Senator for remembering them in her scheme of the things and urged her to continue in her good works.

Eze Egemonu however pleaded with the Senator to tackle erosion problem in the area, adding that some major roads in Ikeduru are in deplorable condition.

Senator Anyanwu later went to thetown hallofIkeduru LGAwhere he met and interacted with the youth, women and the aged, assuring them of a better welfare condition.

She used the opportunity to inform Ikeduru people that efforts are in top gear for the foundation laying ceremony of a 50 bed cottage hospital, situated at Uzoagba, adding that about five secondary schools have been built in the area

Also speaking, the member representing Ikeduru constituency at the IMHA, Hon. Sam Daddy however thanked Anyanwu for taking his people to heart and pledged his loyalty to serve the Senator.

Contributing, the Ikeduru LGA Chairman, Hon. Sam Aka also commended Senator Anyawu for her doggedness and determination to carry Ikeduru people in her scheme of things and urged her to keep up the pace of development.

The Senator also used the opportunity to inspect a gigantic hospital funded by the Federal Government with her influence at the FMC Owerri where she was greeted with ovation.
