Ahiazu APC, PDP Suffer Mass Defection, As Ihenacho Promises To Tackle Unemployment

The jostling for Gov. Rochas Okorocha’s seat in Imo State is assuming an interesting dimension as former Minister for Interior, Capt Emmanuel Iheanacho (Rtd) one of the gubernatorial faithful in Imo embarked on a rally to Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Imo State in a bid to witness a public declaration of Mr. Cajetan Nnamadi, Deputy Comptroller General of Immigration (rtd) and over 2000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Congress (APC) who defected to All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA last weekend.
The epoch event commenced with a visit of Capt Iheanacho and his entourage to the palace of His Royal Highness (HRH) Eze F.U Ibe, Ezedioranma 1 of Ahiara Ahiazu Mbaise autonomous community where they received a warm reception and a Royal blessing before proceeding to the community venue for the declaration.
Speaking during the event, Capt Iheanacho expressed his profound gratitude to the people of Otulu/Agunezez Ward for their reception and for coming out en mass to witness the occasion. He pointed out that all his life he has always been looking for opportunity to better the lives of Imo people, stressing that being the governor of Imo State will avail him the unique opportunity to actualize it. He said he is in the race because he knows he can do much better with the resources available as he has found APGA as the party platform to serve his people by create job for the teeming unemployed youths in the state as well as reduce unemployment rate in the state.
