Imo Queen Pays Courtesy Visit To Trumpeta Newspaper

The reigning Queen of Imo State, Miss Chizzy Ishiguzo and her team on Wednesday stormed Trunpeta Newspaper located at Item Street to familiarize with the media firm.
The Queen who arrived the premises of Trumpeta with her entourage around 1:00pm was received by the management of Trumpeta Newspaper.
The managing Editor of Trumpeta Chief Gerry Ogu in his speech welcomed the Queen and her team and prayed for their success. He noted that the Queen has actually lived up to expectation adding that her reign has uplifted the youths in Imo and have placed them in a recognized group.
He told the visitors that one of the guiding principles of Trumpeta newspapers is to report nothing but the truth “Our duty is to educate the masses, we are story tellers and if you must do it we must tell it”.
Speaking further he assured the office of the state Queen that Trumpeta newspaper must surely showcase their activities as well as partner with them. He advised them not to relent in their strive to bring out hidden talents in our youths.
Mr Chris Akoka Amakor, the project Director of the office of the Imo state Queen, in his speech said that he cannot undermine the impact of media houses and this made the Queen and her team to consider it necessary to visit selected Media Houses to familiarize and partner with them.
He revealed that the audition of the beauty pageant is expected to take place on the 8th of March while the grand finale will take place on 12th of March at Concorde Hotel Owerri.
In her speech earlier, the State Queen, Miss Chizzy Ishiguzo said the programme is aimed at entertaining and empowering youths of Imo state.
She said during the campaign, the contestants will receive a lot of training that will change their lives, adding that winners will go with enough money that will help them improve. “We offer opportunity for youths to groom their lives and improve in on their talents” the Queen noted.
