Why Oguta TC Chairman, Igbomezie Was Sacked

Fresh facts are beginning to emerge on reasons why the Transition Committee Chairman of Oguta Local Government Area, Hon Chief Henry Igbomezie was sanctioned by the state governor, Owelle Rocha Okoroch.
News filtered oi Wednesday that Chief Igbomezie was removed from office for unknown reasons. However, the former lawmaker who represented Oguta is said to have incurred the wrath of the governor for certain unwholesome acts centered on insubordination and disrespect to the leader of APC in his locality and Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof Tony Anwukah
Prior to this development, workers in the council reportedly embarked on weeks of fasting and prayer requesting God to effect change of leadership in the council over occurrence of unpleasant developments. The workers gathered to hold prayers in this regard.
Remarkably, traditional rulers from the area had in a letter to the Governor expressed reservations about the conduct of Igbomezie while demanding for his exit from the council. The monarchs told the governor to fire Igbomezie for alleged unbecoming conduct.
Finally, the alleged disrespect to the SSG which Okorocha got wind of became the last straw that broke the camel’s back when the Governor wielded the big stick against him. It was learnt that the uncomplimentary language infuriated the Governor who sent him packing.
