Pay Us Our Entitlements, Or…… Rochas Ex-Appointees Threaten

What goes around they say comes around, like the popular saying that “who ever sees a fowl eating excrete should chase it away because no body knows who will eat the leg or head”.
Today former political appointees who served the incumbent Governor of Imo State, Gov Rochas Okorocha are poised for war with their former principal over their unpaid statutory entitlements and benefits under the auspices of a group called Forum of Former Gov Okorocha Political Appointees FOFOPA
Addressing a press conference in Owerri recently, the group Coordinator Chief Macdonald Amadi, a Former Special Assistant on media to the Governor lamented that they are yet to get their entitlements, six months after they left office. He describe FOFOPA as a formidable association with a strong voice to fight for the overall welfare of its members as well as partner effectively with the right stakeholders to ensure a better Imo. Chief Amadi averred that they have not been paid Housing, Transport, Furniture allowance, as most of them had no official car, homes, severance packaging among others.
FOFOPA, however, thanked the governor and the rescue mission government for finding them worthy to serve the state, stressing that the opportunity exposed them to leadership and managerial experiences which will help draw the future career. The forum also announced the constitution of a three- man interim executive members to superintend its affairs, they include Hon Ebere Uzoukwa (secretary) and Hon Uche Ogbuagu (PRO).
It will be recalled that all the political appointees who served the state during Chief Ikedi Ohakim administration were denied their statutory two months salary, entitlements and benefits by same Gov Okorocha which they are still fighting for through the court.
